Back in May Holy Cross Rosary International launched a campaign to get people to pray the rosary every Saturday for World Youth Day. Heaven knows we need all the prayers we can get at this point. So far 1.410 people have “liked” the Firm in the Faith facebook page with many, many more quietly praying a rosary every saturday for WYD.

Because the team at Holy Cross Family Ministries knows that, they’ve launched a new feature on their campaign website that allows young people to record and upload a short video of themselves praying a part of the rosary or giving their own short faith biography. Visitors to the site can then view the prayers and testimonials that have been uploaded to Firm in the Faith.  You can add your own “beads” to this virtual rosary by visiting the Firm in the Faith

However, one rosary isn’t nearly enough. World Youth Day is also gathering videos of youth praying parts of the rosary, but with a slightly different final goal. Through the Universal Rosary website WYD is collecting videos that will be used to make up one video rosary that will be aired at WYD while pilgrims wait for the big events to start.
